Solutions that value, enhance, advance, and recognize learning.
Areas of Expertise
-
I lead human-centered and learning-focused solutions for an improved future state, where continual work-integrated learning and skilling is valued, where all learning counts and is recognized, and where all learners have access to - and success as a result of - learning opportunities.
To achieve this future state, I often facilitate purposeful partnerships - ensuring the right organizations and individuals have the opportunity and capacity to work together.
While technology is very often an essential element of initiatives and projects, I start by identifying the human and organizational needs first to ensure that initiatives stick and ultimately make a difference.
-
I design, lead, and support cutting edge initiatives that ultimately help dismantle the traditional boundaries between learning and work. I have expertise and engage in a variety of related projects, including:
Assessment: program quality, competencies and skills, and overall educational effectiveness and impact.
Recognition of Learning: Credit for prior learning / prior learning assessment and recognition; digital credentials and portfolios; and Learning and Employment Records (LERs).
Change leadership and human-centered change processes.
Credentialing: microcredentials, badges, non-credit to credit pathways, incremental credentials, etc.
